State of Siege: Temple Attack is a 2021 movie streaming on ZEE5 since 9th July, 2021. Directed by Ken Ghosh and starring Akshaye Khanna in a lead role, the movie is based on true events of 2002 Akshardham Temple attack.

The plot of the film attempts to provide a detailed overview of what happened during the operation. It also showed how NSG succeeded in saving several lives. Director Ken Ghosh has done his job in a very nice manner. However, He has taken some creative liberties. Furthermore, He aslo showed the unfortunate events from that historical day. Lastly, these all aspects made it an engaging watch.

However, the screenplay is layered and to-the-point which doesn’t overdramatise the terror attacks. Cinematography of the movie is mesmerizing especially the scenes shot in the picturesque locations of Manali. Even the action-packed sequences between NSG commandos and terrorists are well. They were choreographed by Mandhar Verma and Rinku Bacchan. Overall, it only skims the surface of the issue, not going further or revealing numerous inside aspects that are already kept hidden from the public.

CAST PERFORMANCES:

Firstly, all of the actors give satisfactory performances, delivering exactly what is expected of them. Secondly, Parvin Dabas has done justice to his role. Major Hanut Singh, played by Akshaye Khanna, and his team, which includes Vivek Dahiya and Gautam Rode. Furthermore, Sameer Soni and Akshay Oberoi have impactful roles
