The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is an American television miniseries created by Malcolm Spellman for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics characters Sam Wilson / Falcon and Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films of the franchise. The events of the series take place after the film Avengers: Endgame (2019).

The storyline of the series is good which revolves around the lives of Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes after the blip incident. Furthermore, the series also includes some subplots that show about the other crisis going on in the world due to the blip. The series seems to be slow during the starting episodes but the story picks up as it unfolds. The CGI work is excellent and all the CGI scenes are a treat to watch.

The director, Kari Skogland has done an innocent job and has been able to show all the characters with appropriate depth. The dialogues are nice with decent amount of humour but are effective. The action scenes are commendable and helps the audience to keep up with the series. The screenplay is average due to which the series seems to be slow at some intervals.

CAST PERFORMANCES:

Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie have done an impressive job and their chemistry looks good on the screen. Wyatt Russel is also good. Erin Kellyman has also played her part nicely along with Emily VanCamp. Daniel Bruhl is excellent and during his entire screen time, audience enjoys him. The rest of the cast has done their part very well.
